Weapons supplied by the UK have been deployed against democracy protesters in the Middle East and North Africa. There was public outcry when it emerged that the UK has sold equipment including tear gas, crowd control ammunition and fire arms to Bahrain and Libya. Yet the UK is still supplying arms to authoritarian regimes today. This is NOT OK

The government claims it has a “responsible” attitude to arms sales. Yet it spends public money on persuading some of the world's worst human rights abusers and most unstable regions to buy weapons – and says it wants to do even more to promote arms sales! This is NOT OK

In 2011 it helped organise a massive arms fair, DSEi, in London, inviting 14 authoritarian regimes to shop for weapons. DSEi is due to return in 2013. This is NOT OK.

Add your name to say Stop arming repressive regimes. It's time to end government support for the arms trade and close the DSEi arms fair.
